Obidos in just 15 minutes away by car and is one of the seven
wonders of Portugal.
It is completely surrounded by a medieval wall and the castle is
the centre of all its activities. During the year, Obidos plays
host to many festivals celebrating a variety of different things.
The Christmas village is enchanting and the chocolate festival is
like nothing we have seen before. The arts are celebrated as are
the crafts.
This year, the chocolate festival is from March 4th to March 14th.
